s. m, Corrupted from the Arabic word Ahwál. State, condition, circumstances, affairs:—hawáldár, s. f. See hauldár in Haul:—hawál, dárí, s. f. See hauldári in Haul:—hawál, or hál hawál dassṉá, v. a. To state one's story; to state one's case (to a physician):—hawál or hál hawál puchchhṉá, v. a. To enquire after one's health circumstances; to investigate.
