s. m, bone, especially a big bone of dead cattle:—haḍḍ goḍḍe bhajjṉe, v. n. To be broken one's bones and knees:—haḍḍ goḍḍe bhanṉe or bhann suṭṭṉe, v. a. To break one's bones and knees; to beat severely:—haḍḍán dá sáṛá, a. lit. Aching of the bones; injurious, harmful, producing anxiety:—haḍḍ goḍḍe rahi jáṉe, v. n. Not to be able to walk, to have rheumatism:—lipáṛá wasse táṇ dháṛá, ná wasse táṇ haḍḍáṇ dá sáṛá. Unirrigated manured land, if there is rain, is a booty; if there is not rain there is aching of the bones.
