s. m, India, the king of gods, the Regent of the visible heavens, and of the inferior divinities according to the Hindu mythology;—s. f. m. A woman so malformed as to be incapable of sexual intercourse or of bearing children; a she-goat that gives milk without bearing young; a black kind of barley, with thin grain is called iṇdar jau, because its grain are considered malformed.
