s. m, Corrupted from the Sanskrit word Kák. A crow:—Kágbhusuṇḍ, s. m. A rishí or god of crows who ate the leavings of Ram Chandra in the form of a crow:—haṉsá haṉsá chal gai kágá bhai díwáṉ. lit. Swans went away (died) and crows became díwáṉs (Prime or Finance Ministers).—Prov. used where the wise men are dead and foolish persons succeed them.
