s. f, Food scooped up with the fingers and thus conveyed to the mouth, a mouthful, a morsel:—akkh pharakkaṉ ná mile, múṇh wichch rahe garáh; lakkh lánat us suthriá, jo dam dá kare wisáh. Not getting an opportunity to wink the eye and a morsel remains in the mouth; O Suthrá! thousand of curses be upon him, who has confidence in the life.—Prov. used to express the transitory nature of life.
