s. m, famous faqír said to have been transformed into a serpent, and to have gone into the earth. He is revered and worshipped by Hindus and as well as Muhammadans, and especially by people of the low caste:—Guggá naumí, s. f. The day which occurs in Bhádoṇ on which the Guggá is worshipped.
