s. m, Corrupted from the Sanskrit word Gaṇdh. Stink, filth, dirt; ordure:—gaṇd bakṉá, v. a. To use filthy language:—gaṇd khilárná, v. a. lit. To scatter about filth; to make one's self infamous by bad conduct:—gaṇd páuṉá, v. n. lit. To scatter about filth, to be infamous by bad company; to do hard work:—gaṇd puṉá, s. f. Filthy language, vile conduct, uncleanness, filthiness:—mirchíá gaṇd, s. m. The root of the khawwí (Cymbopogon Iwarancusa.)
