v. n, fist with the knuckles foremost:—ghusunn lagáuṉá, márná, páuṉá, v. a. To give a blow with a fist, to knead with the knuckles:—ghusunn mukkí hoṉá, laṛṉá, v. n. To fight with one's fist, to come to blows:—ghusunn laggṉá, v. n. To receive a blow; to suffer a shock:—ghusunn wargá múṇh banáuṉá, v. n. lit. To make one's face like a fist; met. to be angry, to be annoyed:—ghusunn neṛe ki Khudá neṛe. Is a fist near or God near?—Prov. used where fear of God, or justice is not observed, but beating and oppression are the means of serving any purpose.
