TAKER

انگریزی میں معنی2

s. m, plant (Capparis spinosa, Nat. Ord. Capparideæ) which in Europe furnishes the caper, generally grows in the Panjab, in bright green tufts hanging down from the clefts of the rocks, and adorned with a very handsome large flower. It is found near Multan, in the Salt Range, along the Trans-Indus hills to Peshawar, and in the valley of some of the great rivers. The ripe fruit is made into pickles by the natives of the Salt Range, but in some places eaten only by Hindus. The buds, if prepared in the European style as capers, are found first rate. They are eaten by goats and sheep, and in Kangra the roots are said to be applied to sores.
