s. m, ee Pudára, Pariálá;—A large tree (Hymenodictyon excelsam, Nat. Ord. Rubiaceœ) which extends up to the Ravi low in the Siwalik region. Its timber is white, soft and light, and used for small work, yokes of ploughs, and especially for scabbards. The leaves are given as fooder.
