s. m, Cutting into two pieces:—duṭakk hoṉá, v. n. To be separated or divided into two pieces;—duṭakk karná, v. a. To cut into two, to separate, to disjoin:—duṭakk jawáb deṉá, v. a. To give a short or decisive answer, to settle a matter with a word, to cut the matter short, to give a flat denial.
