s. m, This tree (Acacia stipulata) is handsome in appearance, and is seen in great abundance and luxuriance in portions of the Kangra Valley. The wood of the old tree in Kangra is stated to be brownish, soft, brittle, and light, and it is not valued, being used only for planks and other ordinary purposes.
