s. m, ll shrub (Nyctanthes arbortristis, Nat. Ord. Oleaceæ) which grows wild in the Siwalik tract up to the Chenab, and is occasionally cultivated in the plains. The wood is only used for fuel; the flowers give a transient yellow dye.
