PADRIÁR
انگریزی میں معنی2
s. m, small tree (Bauhinia variegata, var. purpurea, Phanera p. Nat. Ord. Leguminosæ) which occurs in the Salt Range, and is common wild in the outer hills up to near the Indns. It is often planted in the plains for its fine purplish lilac and white flowers blossoming in March. The tree sometimes has an upright cupressiform shape. The wood is red, light, soft, decays quickly, and is subject to insects, and is little used except for fuel. The flower buds are used as a pot-herb in curries and pickles, and the leaves are given as fodder. The bark is used by tanners.
