s. f, large shrub (Wendlandia exserta, W. cinerea Nat. Ord. Rubiaceæ) which grows in the Siwalik tract, up to Ravi. The wood is small and soft, and is not valued except for fuel. The leaves are stated to be given as fodder in Kangra. The flowers have a strong scent.
