s. f, common shrub (Vitex Negundo, Nat. Ord. Verbenaceæ) which is found in the Siwalik tract, and occasional in the Salt Range, and out in the plains. The branches are used for wattle-work. The leaves are in Chamba given for colic; they are also used as poultices. The root and fruit likewise are used medicinally; i. q. Marwá, Mawá.
