a, f or belonging to Multán:—Multání miṭṭí, s. f. A soft sapenine drab coloured earth, somewhat like Fuller's earth, sold in small pieces. Used medicinally and for cleaning the hair. The name Multání does not indicate its origin, except perhaps as regards the trade in it.
