s. m, (Poṭ.) A tree (Rhamnus purpureus, Nat. Ord. Rhamneæ) which is common up to near the Indus. In Hazara the fruit is used as a purgative. The fruit of some of the European species is powerfully purgative; i. q. Mimarárí.
