s. m, Fine wheaten flour used by confectioners;—a. Very fine:—maidá sakk, maidá lakṛí, s. f. m. A tree (Tetranthera monopetala, T. Roxburghii, Nat. Ord. Lauraceæ) of moderate size, which occurs in the Siwalik tract up to the Ravi. The wood is not valued. The bark is considered stimulant, and, after being bruised, is applied fresh or dry to contusions mixed with milk or made into plaster.
