s. f, wrench to the ankle, twisting or spraining a joint:—mochras, s. m. Bombax heptaphyllum, Nat. Ord. Bombaceæ, also applied to the gum of Hyperanthera moringa, Nat. Ord. Moringaceæ. The former tree is the Simbal, the latter the Sohajṉá. The gum is highly astringent. Phul Supari (Areca Catechu), is also sometimes called Mochras. The gum which exudes from the bark, is given often for dysentery and diarrhœa.
