s. m, wiggy leafless plant (Orthantherá viminea, Nat. Ord. Asclepiadeæ) not uncommon about Dehli and in some other parts Cis-Indus, occasional in the Siwalik tract, and Trans-Indus. In Sindh the unsteeped stalks of this plant are made into ropes for Persian wheels, which are said to be very durable as they do not readily rot from moisture.
