s. m, common weed (Taraxacum officinale, Nat. Ord. Compositæ) found in the N. W. Panjab. In many places the young plant is eaten as a vegetable, and it is used medicinally in Kashmir. The leaves are found in the Himalaya as in Europe to be excellent food for rabbits.
