s. f, Tightness, straitness, difficulty, a pinch; a quilt (used where the Hissar District borders on Ferozepore):—jitṉí pahuṇch bicharye, utṉí kíje dauṛ; utṉe áoṉ pasárye jitṉí lambí sauṛ. A man should undertake a race only as far as he can run, and so he should stretch his legs (only) to the length of his quilt.—Prov.
