s. f, Corrupted from the Hindi word Uṇglí. A finger:—aṇggulí dharná or karná, v. n. lit. to put one's finger on; to find fault with, criticize; pick holes; overcome, harass:—aṇggulí phaṛná, v. n. To catch hold of the finger in learning to walk; to get a footing; obtain a foothold:—aṇggulí te nacháuṉá, v. n. (lit. to make one dance on one's finger), to make fun of; to ridicule; to make little of:—aṇggulí uṭháuṉá, v. a. To point one's finger at one; i. q. Uṇglí.
