ਸੰ. अञ्जलि. ਸੰਗ੍ਯਾ- ਉਂਜਲ. ਬੁੱਕ. ਡੂਨੇ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਕਲ ਬਣਾਏ ਹੋਏ ਹੱਥ। ੨. ਪਿਤਰ ਦੇਵਤਾ ਆਦਿਕ ਨੂੰ ਅਰਪਣ ਕੀਤੀ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਚੁਲੀ. ਮੋਏ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਤਿਲਾਂਜਲੀ ਆਦਿਕ ਅਵਿਦ੍ਯਾ- ਕਰਮ ਦੱਸਕੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ "ਅੰਜਲੀ" ਸਿਰਲੇਖ ਹੇਠ ਮਾਰੂ ਰਾਗ ਵਿੱਚ- "ਸੰਜੋਗ ਵਿਜੋਗ ਧੁਰਹੁ ਹੀ ਹੂਆ"- ਆਦਿਕ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਲਿਖਕੇ ਭਾਣਾ ਮੰਨਣ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਭ ਸਿਖ੍ਯਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ੩. ਦੇਖੋ, ਅੰਜੁਲੀ.
