s. m, large gourd (Lagenaria vulgaris, Nat. Ord. Cucurbitaceæ) cultivated throughout the Punjab; also called Kábulí kaddú:—kaddú dáná, s. m. (lit. the seed of the kaddú.) The tape-worm:—halwá kaddú, miṭṭhá kaddú, sufed kaddú, s. m. A species of Kaddú, a large pumpkin (Cucurbita maxima):—gol kaddu, peṭhá, s. m. Benincasa Cerifera: magaj kaddú, s. m. The seeds of the Kaddú used as medicinally, being given in headache.
