s. f, small ornament (especially of iron) worn on the wrist by men and women; a kind of grain, millet (Pennisetum Italicum):—málkaṇggṉí, s. f. An aromatic bitter seed (Celastrus paniculata, Nat. Ord. Celastrineæ) held in much repute for diseases of the stomach and bowels;—kaṉak kamádí saṇghṉí; ṭáwíṇ ṭáwíṇ kaṇggaṉí. Sow wheat and sugarcane close together, but kaṇggaṉí scattered.
