Devouring sorrow, consoling, sympathising; patient, meek; one who feels sympathy for another:—gam karná, v. n. To grieve, to be sorry:—gam kháṉá, v. a. To suffer grief; to grieve, to be sorry; to be mildewed, to be musty, to be decayed; to feel or show sympathy for another; to endure, to be patient, to have patience; to let pass (a fault).
