s. f, The neck:—gardaṉ jhukáuṉí or níwíṇ karní, v. n. To bow one's head; to yield, to submit:—gardaṉ te bhár hoṉá, v. n. To have burden on the neck; to be under obligation:—gardaṉ te khún chaṛhṉá, v. n. To be guilty of the sin of shedding blood:—gardaṉ te sawár hoṉá, v. n. lit. To sit on one's head; to extort, to compel.
