a. (M.), ) A kachchá dam thrown across a stream:—gaṇdí búṭí, s. f. A herb (Glinus lotoides) not uncommon wild in the eastern and central Panjab plains. It is officinal, and is given in the Panjab as a purgative in diseases of the abdomen under the name of jakhmí haiyát.
