s. m, stick, a staff, a club, a thick post, a flag-staff:—ḍaṇḍe wajáuṉe, v. n. To wander about for begging from shop to shop with beating sticks (by Suthras); to play on sticks:—ḍaṇḍe már, s. m. One who is in the habit of beating with a stick:—ḍaṇḍá thohar, s. m. The name of a prickly plant (Euphorbia Royleana); its milk is used as a medicine.
