ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਰਥ2
s. m. (M.), ) A strong coarse grass (Eragrostis cynosuroides) with long roots. It remains green all the year round, is poor fodder, and very difficult to eradicate; i. q. Dabbh:—darabhwálí, s. f. A poor soil overgrown with a coarse grass:—jimíṇdár darabh dí páṛ híṇ. Zimíndars are roots of darabh.—Prov. (Rulers change, but zimiṇdárs last for ever.)
