s. m. (K.), ) A tree (Euonymus fimbriata) is common in many places in the Panjab Himalaya up to near the Indus. It does not grow to a great size, and is not valued for construction, but the wood is close-grained and tough, and spoons are made of it. The leaves are eaten by goats, and on the Sutlej the red seeds are strung into ornaments for the head.
