a, ew, fresh, recent, strange; singular, special, peculiar;—nawíṇ, jawáṉí, s. f. Budding youth:—nawáṇ karná, v. a. To renew, to restore; to taste for the first time:—naweṇ kapṛe, s. m. New clothes:—nawáṇ nakor. Spick and span, new, brand new:—naweṇ sire, naweṇ sirioṇ. From the beginning, over again:—naweṇ sire janam hoṉá, v. n. To be born again; to be restored to health after being dangerously ill, to get a new lease of life:—nawáṇ jawáṉí te lidd de phakke. The budding youth and a palmful of horse dung (are much about the same).—Prov. used of a person who is in his youth.
