ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਰਥ2
s. m, (Poṭ.) A plant (Bouserosia aucheri, Nat. Ord. Asclepiadeæ) found in the Western Part of the outer Himalaya, in the Salt Range, and Trans Indus, its juicy stem, about 4 or 5 inches long, is in bunches somewhat resembling fingers, and has a very bitter taste like that of the Karelá. The stems are said to be sometimes cooked like it, but are generally eaten raw being considered stomachic, carminative and tonic. Trans Indus they are also used as a vermifuge, and dried and powdered they are taken as stimulants.
