s. m, The belly, the abdomen, the stomach; the womb, pregnancy:—peṭ gharoṛí dá, (lit. the scrapings of the womb.) The last child used of a child born subsequently to others when the age of the mother precludes the hope of further offspring:—peṭ karná, v. a. To impregnate. See Dhiḍḍh:—peṭnál hoṉá, v. n.
