s. m. f, The time supposed to be auspicious for engaging in any enterprize, or business. It is determined by divination, an auspicious moment; a division of time equal to 12 chhins or 48 minutes:—mahúrat wachárṉá, wekhṉá, v. a. To ascertain the auspicious moment for any work:—mahúrat karná, v. a. To begin or undertake a journey in an auspicious moment.
