m, Dear, beloved, darling:—máṇ piudá láḍlá, s. m. The parent's pet or spoiled child:—rann tamákú chhikkṉí, rájá rishwat khor; puttar je pálíye láḍlá, tinoṇ tiraṭṭí chauṛ. A woman who smokes tobacco, a ruler who takes bribes, a son who has been brought up indulgently, all three are wholly bad.—Prov.
